By accessing or using our website, mobile site, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, browsing, or interacting with Cottlink, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Who May Use Cottlink

You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform. If you’re accessing Cottlink on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Services Provided

Cottlink offers a listing and discovery platform where users can:

• Browse service providers and business listings
• Submit listings as a business or professional
• View videos, images, and other promotional content
• Connect with local experts based on category and location

We do not directly offer or manage services listed — all bookings or engagements are between users and the listed providers.

4. User Responsibilities

By using our platform, you agree:

• To provide accurate and truthful information
• Not to post misleading, inappropriate, or harmful content
• To update your profile and listings as needed
• Not to engage in illegal activities through Cottlink

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

5. Account Registration

You may create an account to list services or access restricted areas. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are liable for all activities under your account.

6. Payments and Transactions

Some features (like visibility boosts or premium listings) may require payment. All payments made through Cottlink are final and subject to the pricing and refund policies outlined on our platform. We use secure third-party payment processors.

Note: Cottlink does not handle off-platform transactions. We are not liable for payments, disputes, or damages arising from deals made independently between users.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and features on Cottlink are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use Cottlink’s content without permission.

User-submitted content (e.g. business listings or images) remains your property, but by uploading it to Cottlink, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote it on our platform.

8. Third-Party Services

Cottlink may include links to third-party sites, tools (e.g. Google Maps), or embedded content. We are not responsible for any third-party services or content accessed through our platform.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to services if we believe you are violating our Terms, harming other users, or misusing the platform. We may also remove any content without prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

Cottlink and its team are not liable for:

• Direct or indirect damages from using our platform
• Service issues, delays, or fraud by listed providers
• Loss of profits, data, or reputation

We provide our platform “as is”, and while we strive to ensure quality, we do not guarantee accuracy or availability at all times.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cottlink, its affiliates, and team from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Cottlink after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Nakuru or another jurisdiction agreed by both parties.
